The annual keynote address takes place during Eastertide and is given by a leading public figure.
This is followed by a dinner for members of the Society and their guests.
Recent speakers have included the Most Reverend Peter Smith, Archbishop of Southwark; the Most Reverend George Stack,
Archbishop of Cardiff (when an auxiliary bishop of Westminster); Lord Patten of Barnes; Lord Alton of Liverpool; Baroness Scotland of Asthal;
the Reverend Robin Griffith-Jones, Master of the Temple; and Sir Michael Tugendhat, retired Justice of the Queen’s Bench Division of the High Court.
In the past the event has been held at the Old Hall, Lincoln’s Inn and the Parliament Chamber, Middle Temple.
