Our Society

The Thomas More Society

We exist to unite and support Catholics working in Law.

Our mission

In an increasingly secular society and working environment, we provide opportunities for Catholics in law to meet and socialise and to stay in touch with the transcendent dimension of life.

We do this by convening the Red Mass and Advent Service, an Easter Lecture and a Summer Reception.  Through our activities our members build lasting friendships, find guidance and thrive,
both professionally and spiritually.

Our values

Catholic

Our identity as Catholics brings us together. We are inspired by the courageous example of our patron St Thomas More, “the King’s good servant, and God’s first".

Integrity

We aim to undertake our work in the administration of justice in accordance with the highest standards of personal and professional integrity.

Hospitality

We extend a warm welcome to all our members and guests who attend our beautiful liturgical occasions and convivial social events.
